From the Pastoral Team we have the purpose of carrying out the main motive that moved Mother Matilde: to evangelize through education.
With our pastoral action we intend to spread the message of Jesus in day-to-day activities, we also celebrate important dates in the life of our foundress and others such as Domund Day, the School Day of Peace and Nonviolence, the month of May, etc.
Our purpose is to instill in our students the charisma tellista, so that they become free, supportive and committed people.
It's a youth movement whose objective is to transmit in our students the values Mother Matilde's own, while providing them with a space to share their concerns, as well as the commitment to help others.
Through the Organized activities those responsible are prepared to live in fraternity, joy and simplicity, in the style of Matilde Téllez, relating to others, acquiring commitments, maturing as a person...
We meet every 15 days, on Fridays at the end of classes, in order to carry out these objectives. Groups begin from 5th grade of Primary. They are free of charge.
The Camino de Santiago is an activity that has been carried out for the first time in March 2023. It has involved students of 3rd and 4th year of Secondary of all the schools that the HMMI Congregation has in Spain.
It is an activity organized by the General Pastoral Team whose main objective was to complete two paths: one physical, since we walked 114km from Sarria to Santiago; and another spiritual: our students have been able to enjoy an unprecedented personal experience in their lives, they have experienced what companionship, effort, overcoming, meeting other people and themselves means.
Throughout the course we carry out numerous activities from the pastoral field.
We celebrate important dates of our founder: Blessed Matilde Tellez such as her birth, the taking of the habit, the foundation of the Institute Daughters of Mary Mother of the Church and her beatification.
We also collaborate with Solidarity campaigns such as the Day of the Domund, the Day of the Solidarity Sandwich, the Day of Peace and other proposals that come to us from the Diocese and other institutions.
In addition, we are committed to the Service-Learning, through which students acquire new knowledge and at the same time do good to society and the environment that surrounds us.
